- Add turmeric powder and salt.Cover the pan with a lid,and allow it to cook for 10 minutes on a slow flame..
- Add cumin powder,coriander powder,turmeric powder and red chilli powder and mix well..
- Add the fried potatoes and cook till all the ingredients are soft. Also add a spoon of sugar and salt.Mix well..
- Now add the boiled small brown chickpeas, and cook for 5-7 minutes..
- Add the grated coconut now and cook for another 2-3 minutes..
- Finally,add the garam masala powder and mix..
- Cook on a low flame until the water has dried out..
